-We pulled and 12V tested the solenoid. Worked perfectly -We changed the BDE cam gear with a new one. Old gear was almost dry with some light rust on the cam face. -We pulled the cam journal front cap and cleaned out excess RTV -We pressure tested the bare cam with air through the front and ensured the check valve was functioning. -We double and triple checked the harness power connecter. Worked fine and you could hear the solenoid engage.All evidence now points to an oil passage blockage. By this time it was 1:30AM and we had a full dyno day to run in 7.5 hours. Decided to call it a night and dyno with the other VTC plug pulled. Did alright, all things considered.
